I woke up one day and decided I needed a hobby. Phoned a friend and she thought up this ridiculous idea to create a fashion blog. I’ll never be bored again.

Style: Boston Blogger's Convention

I attended my very first Blogger's Convention in Boston last week and I was psyched to meet some of the other fearless people who put their daily lives in writing! Of course, my outfit was priority. I mean, I am a 'fashion' blogger after all. I wanted to make sure that at first sight, I was a walking spring trend(s). My logic? If people are going to read my blog and I am going to develop a trusted voice, I had to AT LEAST look like I knew what I was doing!
Elizabeth and James was the way to go with all of their beautiful hues.
I'm a huge fan of mixing new and old. I picked up this cute bag at a vintage shop in cambridge.
These shoes were a HIT! So many people stopped me to compliment and when I told them that I paid a total of $20 for them, there were plenty of gasps for air, ooh and aaahhs...yada-yada. I added the gray strap for a subtle color-blocking affect. Sometimes, when you shop thrift, they tend to be missing parts but if you're a true fashionista, you make it work (where is Tim Gunn when I need him)!

Hope you enjoyed the look! Jesse Weiner is back in town and we've got some photo shoots booked! Look out for more fabulous outfit posts coming your way soon!

A Whole-lotta-Time

I walked into Anthropologie on Newbury (love their new location, by the way - so spacious) looking for some studs, and instead, I walked out with a brand spanking new watch! I've been on the hunt for a new one for a while now, actually. I'm definitely into the whole "Chunky-men's-watch" trend - love my Michael Kors, but I wanted something a bit more casual and unique. There it was. Perfectly encased - which only enhances it's appeal. That means it's something special, right?! Anyway, I loved that it looked hand-crafted and vintage. I learned that it's made by Sara Designs of NYC. The line is "influenced by Sara's international background and global travels" and so far it's been embraced by many high end stores and boutiques around the world. She makes all sorts of accessories. Can't wait to bump into more of her jewelry pieces and add it to my fun collection.

Hope you like it as much as I do! xoxo

City Girl

I found these Hudson LouLou Jeans while shopping at Scoop not too long ago and I was so excited to wear them for you. They're a 'tuxedo' style pant inspired by LouLou de la Falaise, Yves Saint Laurent's 'muse', who helped inspire the Le Smoking tuxedo suit.I know Pastels are trending for Spring but who can resist a little electric pink? Oh, and the best part is....they GLOW in the dark! I kid you not, my friends. Watch them Glow Here!!!
Don't mind me, I'm just strutting my butt off in an alley. Isn't that what all city girls do?
Love that the outfit is a little 50's housewife, a bit edgy, colorful and comfortable! I felt playful but put together.
My Jill Stuart Platforms are the perfect accent for the outfit! When I saw them in this color (gold) I just knew I had to have them!
This fine piece of jewelry was borrowed from my sis. We both thought it reminded us of my fav jewelry line by Dannijo! This'll have to do for now.

(Chanel is always there when you need her.)
Keep cropped skinnys, floral prints, pastels, tuxedo stripes, and the 50's in mind this spring!

Special thanks to the amazing Photographer, Courtney Perkins(courtney@spoteditorial.com).  Hope you enjoyed her beautiful pics.
