Pretty Things

So I took the much needed trip to LA - West Hollywood to be exact! And yes, I met THEE Rachel Zoe. It was a dream come true and I owe it all to you guys. Thanks for voting! I'll have a post up about it as soon as I can get my head out of the clouds (wink).

I did some last minute shopping before I left to the West Coast and decided that, yes, I would buy this outfit  - nevermind the 90 degree weather. I almost thought I wouldn't be able to wear it because of the humidity and I knew it would be too cold when I got back to Boston but...the heat let up finally and I dragged my fiance out to scout out the perfect location for the shoot. Did I do well? Don't you love the details and the colors? All I could think of was "Pretty". Everything about it!

I'm really into pastels, mint, and just a slight pop of color. The shoes added just enough of the oh-so-trendy bright color I needed. The lace top and mint flowy midi skirt remind me of something whimsical. The purse added just the right touch with it's barely there sparkle. This outfit felt easy, flirty, and fun. I could see myself out with girlfriends, at a baby shower perhaps, or out on a casual date with my Fiance.
