I woke up one day and decided I needed a hobby. Phoned a friend and she thought up this ridiculous idea to create a fashion blog. I’ll never be bored again.

Makeup

Made a much needed trip to Saks and Sephora this weekend! Anyone who  knows  sees me, can tell I love makeup. Don't get me wrong, I could go natural...but why scare people? Ha! I have my basics that I keep in my bag for traveling and THEN, I have what I call "wedding makeup" at home. Keep reading for my daily and wedding routine.
Lip Treatment: Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Blond Sensuel Lipstick #2, NARS Chelsea Girls (Nude Beige) Lip Lacquer, NARS Lipliner pencil in Salsa
Can't live without: Guerlain Terracotta 4 Seasons Tailor-Made Bronzing Powder
From left to right: Neutrogena Healthy Defense daily moisturizer w/ light tint, Bliss Blood Orange and White Pepper hand cream, Benefit's Sun Beam in golden bronze, Nars Illuminator in Orgasm

Daily Routine (no foundation, no concealer, no finishing powder): I cleanse my face with Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Face Wash (not pictured) which I absolutely love because it's not harsh and doesn't strip my face of its natural oils. It simply cleans it and leaves my face thirsty enough to soak up all of the moisture from my Healthy Defense face lotion by Neutrogena (pictured). I pick it up at CVS and when they are out I just want to pull my hair out! I've tried other products with a "light tint" and they make me look like I'm wearing foundation - cakey! Nothing works like this one. I've even got my brother to start using it. It makes him look much more alive (he's going to kill me for telling everyone). Moving on - I have started to mix my fav moisturizer with my NARS Orgasm Illuminator (pictured) and it gives me a pretty glow. Top it off with a few dabs of Benefit's Sun Beam (pictured) on your cheekbones, tip of your nose, and above your brows and you look totally revived! Stop right here if you're not THAT into more makeup and add your fav mascara - mine is Diorshow New Look #090 (pictured) and a little lipgloss and you're good to go! ------> Are you over 18? Ha! Top your illuminating/fresh face with a few strokes of bronzer on your T-zone. My favorite is the Guerlain Terracotta 4 Seasons Bronzer (pictured). I pick it up at Saks and it's honestly a little on the pricey side but it lasts for a few months AND IT'S THE BEST!! Cheaper bronzers are chalky and just sit on your face but this one eventually blends with your moisturizer and natural oils for a more natural look. Plus it saves my pale skin during the colder months.

Wedding Routine (not MY actual wedding day, guys!): I start off with a  clean face using my Aveeno cleanser, moisturize with a mix of my tinted Neutrogena and NARS Orgasm Illuminator then the fun starts ----> I dab a tiny amount of my Chanel Perfection Concealer (not pictured) under my eyes to help brighten them up a bit. Then I break out my fav Luminous Silk (never matte) Foundation by Georgio Armani (pictured). The great thing about a good concealer and foundation is that you don't HAVE to coat your entire face with it. If you get them in the right shade, you can use it just on problem areas. I mostly use my foundation on my cheeks to cover up redness and I make sure that it's a "silky" foundation that leaves my face looking moisture-rich instead of cakey and dry. I top this off with a few dabs of my Sun Beam Golden Bronze Illuminator, then seal it with a few strokes of my Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder in Medium Deep (pictured). I love the bronzed Goddess look so I use an awesome eye-lipstick. Yes, an eye lipstick. It's Guerlain's Terracotta Khol Kajal in Black Frida (not pictured) and, again, it's a bit pricey for an eyeliner but I got it 4 months ago and I still have a quarter of it left (it's the size of an average lipstick). Go on and add your favorite mascara. Might I suggest the Diorshow Newlook? It separates and elongates but if you prefer something cheaper that gives you all that drama, go with Maybelline's Falsies (not pictured).

Lips: For my lips, I use the YSL Blonde Lipstick and I top it off with a few dabs of the NARS Chelsea Girls Lip Laquer. I have pretty full lips so I like the nude lipsticks. I do STILL use a little lipliner in order to highlight the glossy, nude look. I prefer an easy gliding pencil by NARS. I blend so it looks softer. Pout-perfection I tell ya!

Hope this post helps anyone looking for easy/good makeup! Special thanks to my sis Clo for the tropical b-day flowers  pictured above. They make great accents! Happy Thursday Everyone!

P.S. Anyone looking for good shadow...don't ask me! My fiance hates shadow. Thankfully, I do too.
