Ain't No Sunshine...

The sun has been anything but bashful these past few weeks so my sister and I decided we would seize the opportunity - sis urged me to get an outfit together so we can take some outdoor photos and NOT freeze our bums off! Unfortunately, we chose a day when the sun decided it wasn't going to rear its pretty head. Thankfully we were able to get a few good snaps and as it turns out, we actually liked the chilly feel/look of this photo-shoot.

I picked up this chic metallic faux-fur jacket with leather trimming at Club Monaco. The metallic effect looks like it was created by someone literally dabbing gold paint directly onto the jacket (I could be so right about that). It's my favorite item sitting in my closet right now! Mostly because it reminds me of an authentic Chanel tweed jacket. It's the closest thing I could get to owning one of those!

My dress is extra 60's-inspired and SHORT! Picked it up at a boutique named Soo-Dee on Newbury St. It's a cape-dress actually. I wore it to one of the fashion shows I attended. I dressed it down this time but it can be made to look super FANCY!

 I think I avoided looking street-walker trashy by making sure that 6 inches of skin was all you were going to get - I'm pretty covered up everywhere else!

The Lamb bag I've had for quite a while (might as well throw the word vintage in front of it). Still in love with it.

My booties are by ASH. They're rediculously comfy and every time I look down I feel like I'm walking on 2 black crows - not sure if that's good or bad?!

I like that this outfit has a little chic, a little edge, and a little flirty-wirtyness written all over it!

Hopefully the sun will peek through the clouds tomorrow - it ain't warm when she's away!
