I woke up one day and decided I needed a hobby. Phoned a friend and she thought up this ridiculous idea to create a fashion blog. I’ll never be bored again.

Sunny Side Down

I got this cute dress from LIT - another one of my fav. boutiques in Boston (promise to get an interview from LIT soon!). I borrowed the belt from my photographer Jesse. Yes, it's a man's belt, haha.  I like the masculine edge it gives to this "baby-doll" dress. It's unexpected and fun!

I'm taking advantage of bright lips before the fall. This lipstick is called, Rouge Artist Intense by Make Up For Ever. Perfect for leaving your mark on a love letter, eh?

This bracelet from J.Crew is one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. It has so much character and you can wear it with anything. What a great accent piece.

My shoes are from a couple of years back. I haven't worn them in a while. Sometimes it's nice to be able to wipe the dust off a cute pair of shoes you forgot you had and throw them on. The memory beads are authentic from Mexico. My nails are "Fifth Avenue" by... you guessed it, Essie!

I'm loving the high updo bun. It's been my go-to hairstyle this summer. I added a little bang this time.

Picked up these clutches on my recent trip to Mexico. A cute accent piece and a tribute to the hyper-color trend (while it lasts).

Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather!

  1. I'm loving the lace details on this dress and some of your other pieces. It certainly adds femininity to the outfits and I see that it's a favorite for you. Do you think lace is seasonless or can you rock an outfit like this in the cooler months?

  2. I will be bringing back a throwback 80's look for men. Start off with the bottoms- a pair of Spandex biking shorts with a solid stipe on both sides. Top- relaxed fit tye die tank top. Feetwear- Adidas cleats. Accessories - A "Fannie Pack" filled with loose change and pencils along with a huge Flavor Flav clock pendant for the neck. What say you????

  3. Hi!

Lace was pretty big this year but I don't like to be discouraged from wearing something (fabric) that I love just because it's not "in" this season. I will make use of this dress again in the cooler months and maybe throw on a cute jean jacket or blazer to keep me warm. Fashion has been so flexible lately and I think we should take advantage of that. Go with your gut!

Thanks for writing. Hope to hear from you again soon!
