I woke up one day and decided I needed a hobby. Phoned a friend and she thought up this ridiculous idea to create a fashion blog. I’ll never be bored again.

Bone Thug

So, yes, I took these photos...not too long ago - ugh! New England weather makes a fashion blogger's life hard. But, nonetheless, it was yet another amazing rooftop shoot with Courtney Perkins. She provided props this time (as if I need more motivation to be eccentric) - yay! Don't you love that wearing a skully these days means you're cool? Who knew? Kiss bad hair days goodbye...until the temperature rises, then of course, you're on your own. I Love flirting with masculine and feminine combinations and the hat makes it easy.

It's supposed to be warm this week. Heading down to Newport with the fiance. Can't wait.
Happy Monday! xo

Face Time

{Cleanse & Polish, Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Brightening Treatment Mask, Skin Repair Moisturizer}
I found this new line of skin care online after bumping into this video - Now,  I'm not sure if it was her amazing skin or accent that kept me watching, but I'm so glad I did! I literally made the purchase right after I finished watching it. (And now that you think I'm crazy) I'm seriously convinced I found a product I can see myself using for the rest of my life! My favorite part,...it all smells like spa-heaven and after reading the ingredients, I was happy to see: Wheatgerm oil, Avocado oil, Vitamin E, Hops Extract...etc. All natural! Check out my step by step, daily routine below.
{Pure muslin cloths, free travel size polish & cleanser }

 I've always thought it was a waste to spend money on cleansers or moisturizers when you could wash and go with some pharmacy-bought, whatcha-ma-call-it... but now that the clock is ticking (women..., go figure),  I am invested in keeping this face tight and puurty. Well worth it!

Happy Monday.

Few Favorites {Gold}

Bell Bottom Blues Belt by B-Low The Belt
I neeeeded a simple black belt with the perfect buckle. This one has certainly turned into my everyday belt. It's perfect with a pair of skinnys, a vintage T and booties (as in, my uniform).
Croko Cuff by Avant Garde Paris
Don't like the sound of a thousand bangles on your wrist? Try this on for size (literally). I mean it's loud... but not loud. It's one of my fav pieces of jewelry right now because it adds a little umph to my T-shirt & boyfriend jeans look. Plus, it's textured!
Pozzini Necklace & Estelle Necklace by All Saints
I've always loved two chains...you know what I mean (cough, cough).
The Pozzini necklace is simple and dainty. The fine ropes allow for delicate draping and it has multiple catches so you can customize it any way you want. Sometimes I wear it alone or I pair it with the luxuriously chunky Estelle Necklace for an edgy-er look.

Jane-T Strap Ballet Flats by J.Crew
Okay, so, I found the cool-girl ballet flat! The color makes it safe enough to wear around the office but the chain makes it cool enough to wear out to cocktail hour. Is it five o'clock yet?

I'm so excited about my new purchases. They are the perfect accent pieces for a simple outfit.  What are your favorite accessories right now?
Please note: I don't recommend wearing all these items at once - that would be gold-overload.

Top-of-the-World

I had such an amazing time with my photographer on my "Save the Date/Engagement" photo session! It totally makes me miss the warmer months but the photos are so cute, I couldn't help but share. Plus, I'm just in time for Valentine's Day (wink).

 She pulled some strings (and took some risks); we climbed to the tippity-top of her apartment building in the South End to capture these amazing shots. We were definitely living on the edge here but the views made it all worth it. She was also nice enough to take some solo shots for the blog.

Since my fiance and I are going for a more formal affair, we thought we'd dress up a bit. He brought out his bow-tie and I brought out my favorite dress by designer Alexander McQueen (it's only right). It's both flirty and chic - perfect for dancing on the roof. The adorable puff sleeves had me at...hello?

 In the end, we had tons of pics to choose from but we thought this one (below) really captured our admiration for one another. Hope you like it as much as we do!
